AFFORDABLE HOUSING

1801 WEST CAPITOL

1801 West Capitol Ave. in West Sacramento, is permanent supportive housing offered to those exiting homelessness. The project consisted of 85 units, 57,192 square feet. The 3-building complex features a modern look with metal siding and plaster finish on the exterior facades with covered patio, bike storage and onsite parking. Amenities include a meeting room, community room, laundry room and an outside courtyard.

CORPORATE CITIZENSHIP AWARD

Tricorp Group, Inc. was recognized by Sacramento Business Journal for being an organization working to make Sacramento area a better place based on their support for local nonprofits and missions including philanthropy, volunteerism and more. In 2021, Tricorp Group contributed $128, 500 in cash donations to local charitable organizations, donated project hours, and paid volunteer hours to employees.

was 15 out of 25.

1430 Q 

1430 Q is a luxury residential and retail mixed-use building with three levels of concrete construction and six floors of wood-framed residential units above. This required a special exception to code, which typically allows only five stories of fire-resistant wood structures. Amenities include high-end finishes and appliances, gymnasium and yoga room, rooftop terrace and courtyard with outdoor seating.

BEST REAL ESTATE PROJECTS STUDENT HOUSING

ACADEMY 65

Academy 65 is a 6-story, 270-bed, 97,000 square foot premier, off-campus student housing community where innovation and college living intersect. This building encompasses 5 levels of apartments, parking garage and retail on the ground level. Amenities include private and group study spaces, courtyard consisting of a bar and grill area, fire pits and a hot tub, 24-hour fitness center, game room and entertainment lounges.

BEST REAL ESTATE PROJECTS INNOVATION

EVIVA MIDTOWN

Eviva Midtown is Sacramento's first modular residential project at 176,521 square feet, 118 apartments. The building has five stories of rental units atop a concrete podium housing ground-level retail space and one level of subterranean parking. Eviva's 200 modular units were prefabricated off-site in Boise, Idaho. Each modular unit weighed between 30,000 and 60,000 pounds. It took seven weeks for Tricorp to set the modular units in place.

16 POWERHOUSE

16 Powerhouse is a 6-story building containing the first mechanical car stackers in Sacramento. The high-end finishes, restaurants and coffee shop are some of the special amenities of this unique building. The building exceeds State Title 24 energy efficiency standards by 56 percent and is LEED Gold certified. 

"It really raised the bar on what people have been doing on 16th street," said Tom Kigar of CADA. "When I walk by there now, it feels like it has been there forever."
